About Aurangabad Textiles & Apparel Parks Ltd

The National Textile Corporation Limited (NTC) is a Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Textiles. In pursuance to the GOM decision dated 22.08.2007; NTC has formed a Joint venture with M/s Alok Industries Ltd. in which NTC is the major shareholder with 5 out of 8 directors on the Board of JVC. And they have started the activities in a big way at Aurangabad Textiles and Apparel Parks Ltd. (ATAPL) for garmenting and work-wear.

Alok Industries Limited -- a Joint Venture partner is a new generation vertically integrated textile company, having presence across the textile value chain from Spinning, Weaving, Knitting, Processing, Made ups , Garments and finally into Retailing. Alok’s versatile product range for apparel fabrics, home textile and readymade garments provides integrated textile solution for many of the world’s leading brands and retailers. With over two decades of experiences, Alok has earned a reputation of being a supplier of quality products at international competitive prices and dependable delivery schedules.

It was envisaged that ATAPL, a subsidiary of NTC Ltd (Central Government Undertaking) to set up modern garments unit. The company has and proposes to install, latest plant & machinery both imported and indigenous from the reputed suppliers, 262 machines, with a view to expand up to 500 machines, for manufacturing of woven and knitted garments with an installed capacity of 3.0 mn. pcs. p.a. The additional raw material and utilities required for the project are available indigenously.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will head the company with strong team for marketing and exports of garments to various regions of the globe under the guidance of Board of Directors.
